I'm sure gonna miss you Jer and Robyn! {and Benson, Matthew, Ethan and Eli!-you guys better make lots of messes and have fun being kids;)} Now that both of my brothers live out of state I have to fend for myself... and of course Leeser. Who is going to protect us from this big world now?

That's ok, you're forgiven and I know it will be for the best! Congrats on the big move and I love you guys! Now I get to look forward to weekend get aways to Colorado and BASEBALL games with the boys! Wahoo... Can't wait for summer.
Speaking of summer, what is this 34 Degree weather on March 31st!? Bee-Ess I tell ya! Better be some kind of early April Fool's because i'm ready to put on my bikini and hang out at the pool, go to Brandon's soft ball games, go to the Bee's games, concerts, golfing{gotta get good!} and of course RIDE MY SCOOTIE! Gosh it just gets me so excited. Lots of fun things planned this summer! alright, I'm off to bed. Can you tell i'm tired? ;)

Looking back

So here are some of the pictures of my block letters that Lindsey and I made for one of our craft nights! Lindsey was only with me while I started on the "C" and the "M."

Before (Plain, white, and ugly)

The finished project!

I have a picture of this slightly staggered on my wall but must not have loaded it... Sorry!

Here's all the things that you need to DIY:

-wooden block letters

-modge podge

-fabric, pictures or scrap booking paper (we used paper)

-cute decorations

1- Cut out all the paper to fit your wooden blocks (cut paper slightly smaller than the letter)

2- Apply a thin layer of modge podge and glue the paper on (too much modge podge will create bubbles!)

3-Try to squeeze out any bubbles and then apply another thin top coat of modge podge on top of the paper for a glossy finish. Let dry overnight to prevent any smudging or tearing.

4-Add flowers, buttons, ribbon and anything you'd like, then hang on a wall, or stand on a table or shelf!

Enjoy!

Here are a few pictures from St. Patty's Day. We went to Maggie McGee's and played some pool, darts, and hung out with friends. It was a lot of fun and the place was PACKED!

Showing some love to my red headed lover on St. Patty's Day!

B returning the favor!

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Brandon and I went and saw Jason Aldean live on friday night and he was AWESOME! Before the concert we went to Pat's BBQ with Corey and Lindsey. During the first part of the concert I wasn't feeling very well, but luckily I felt better by the time Jason came on!

I LOVE Jason!

What an awesome Birthday present! I Love this boy

FINALLY....

Something to blog about!
So, I feel like it's been a while since I've kept you all updated. (all who actually read this ;) ) Last night Brando and I went to the Jazz game and they played against the Wizards (The Wizards got stomped on) and it was a lot of fun.
After the game, they passed out coupons for a free one of these:

Good thing, because I didn't bring lunch today!

I also finished my wood block craft and was able to get it hung in my room for the last month and 1/2 that i'll be nesting there. I took pics of my blocks, as well as the Jazz game, I just don't have them on my computer at work to show you. But as for now, I have some FANTASTIC news that I think you all will appreciate.

If you bring five of these to Noodles & Co (btwn 5pm-10pm):

You can get a free one of these!

Oooh Man. Who's excited?

So a day full of free food...Who can complain?

Today is going to be a good day!

Just can't get ENOUGH...

What a great past couple of days it's been! So this blog is going to be a long one. I'll try not to bore you, I just have so much to say!

First off, I received an email on friday... Can you guess who it was from and what it said??? That's right, I've FINALLY been accepted to DENTAL HYGIENE! YAY! They don't know the starting date because of the budget cuts that they have been making but I don't even care. I'm just so happy to know that I am done with all my prereqs and will never have to take a pointless crappy class that has nothing to do with my degree! I will most likely be starting fall of 2012(yikes!).. I'll keep you updated when I find out!

My weekend just got better as it went. The best part was getting to go snowboarding with my older brother Jeramie and my lover Brando on saturday. I took Jer for his birthday and B for our anniversary. We went up to Solitude for the day and I don't think we could have chosen a better day. It was so nice. Sun was out, hardly any clouds, it was a pretty warm day and best of all, it was the best day i've ever had snowboarding! I can't wait to go back up this weekend. Here are some of the pics of our day on the slopes. They don't even justify one tiny bit of the perfect day that we all had... The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have Junior with us too. Haha SUCKER!

I LOVED my new snowboarding coat that B gave me!

I know, I look slightly handicapped w/ those goggles on.

And to end my weekend off well, Brandon's mom, his sister, and her friend and I went to Spaghetti Factory for lunch, just us girls... Oh man it was so good.

So i've decided that monday night kick boxing is not only a crazy good workout, but it also gets me really motivated to do things that I always talk about doing. If any of you have a pass to Golds, I would HIGHLY recommend trying out Shelly's kick boxing class monday nights at the Sugar House location at 5:45. Her work outs are SO intense and she will kick your butt into shape! Unfortunately, I only have one monday left with her because my Golds pass is up and I am NOT going back. I only tolerate the kick boxing classes and the only reason I go to Van Winkle is because it's close to where I live. Other than that, sadly, I can't say anything good about Golds. Lately, everytime that i've been going to the Golds on Van Winkle, they follow me, wait-CHASE me down is a better way to put it, either while I'm in the middle of working out or while i'm walking about doing my thing just to ask if i'm planning on renewing my contract. First off, i'm working out and don't care to stop to talk about renewing. If I wanted to, I would go and find them. You know what I say? No. Then they proceed to ask why and try to take my keys so we can "talk about it" when i'm done working out. You know what I want to do when i'm done working out? Go home, eat and shower before I have to get to bed! Nothing annoys me more than how DESPARATE they are to get members and it only happends at that particular gym... Sorry Gold's gym, but I WONT be back! However, I will giving this place a try:

BAHAHA

This place seems pretty cool from what i've heard. I know it's a small place(w/ no classes :( ), but it's only $10 a month with no contracts! And best of all... They have fun days each day of the week like bagel monday, pizza tuesday...etc It doesn't quite make much sense to me to have a pizza monday at a gym, but who cares, it's FREE! And if I don't like it, I don't have to keep going because there is no contracts or obligations. I plan on moving home in May for a few months and then i'll have a work out room where I won't have to worry about anyone bothering me. Peace and Quiet! Take that Gold's gym...

and if all goes as planned,

hopefully God will be willing to give me a hot bod like this:

There is nothing wrong with wishful thinking ; )

bLah blAh BLAH...

-What a fun night we had last night! We went on a triple date ish thing with my brother Jer, his brother in laws and their dates and we saw the pre-viewing for this movie:

-It was pretty awesome. The costumes were way cool and the Mad Hatter was my favorite. Johnny Depp did a pretty good job and was a total FREAK

-After our movie we went to a beach party at Sig Nu last night and it was themed "To Hell with Winter!" It was super fun(will post pics soon.. hopefully?), all except our lovely Mother Nature decided to choose that night of all nights to snow...Wait a minute, that's an understatement. To dump all the snow that has been hiding from us in those clouds that we've been waiting on for how long now? We were all in swim suits, shorts, flip flops, tanks and such and we were not about to let the snow put a stop to this night! They filled the entire basement with sand and there was a DJ, lots of yummy drinks and of course lots of fun people dressed in their summer/beach attire! 3 hours later(at 2 am), I was finally in my wonderful bed, next to my wonderful boyf. What a great way to end the night! Needless to say, I was able to get 4 hours of sleep in and made it to work at 7:02... Sorry $50 drawing I was so close to being able to enter, maybe i'll be on time next week!

The plans for this weekend look a little like this:

A little nappy after work...

And:
A day on the slopes bright and early saturday morning...
(can't wait to try out the new snow boarding coat)

Oh-
and here are some things
that I am looking forward to in the next couple of weeks/months:

Jazz game in a week where i'll be sportin my sweet D Will jersey :)

B got us tickets for my birthday to see him!

AND the best one of all...

Lake Powell...

(3 house boats, lots of friends and a huge party on the lake! )

Home? Or a home away from home?

So i've been contemplating... VERY VERY HARD about where I should go when my lease is up. My Dad is just about begging me to move home and it breaks my heart if I dont give him one more day living under his roof. I'm not having a hard time affording anything and I really enjoy being so close to everything. So... I've decided to make a list of pros and cons to this moving home situation.

Here are some of the pros:
-Save a boat load of money (over the 3 months)
-Motivate mom and dad to start using the excercise room and start getting in shape
-Be able to spend more time with Melissa
-By the time I move home, I'll have a swimming pool to go to whenever I want.
-being a little further away from Brando's house wont kill me
-I will be able to spend more money on a new phone and possibly a new wardrobe :)
-It is only for a few months...
-I can pitch in with groceries and feel good doing it
-I'll live in a nice place
-This will be the last time I get to live at home

and of course the cons:
-Far
-inconvenient
-might go crazy living at home for longer than 1 month
-might not get along w/ my mom
-cost more in gas
-I won't be 5 min from Brando's house
-may not have roommate options when I decide to move back out
-waking up EARLIER
-longer drive to work
-won't drive my scooty to work
-I'll NEVER be there on the weekends
-This will be the last time I get to live at home

hmm...what to do and i'm having such a hard time deciding. If you didn't know, I am VERY indecisive and it makes me sick knowing that I have to choose by the beginning of April. Any advice?!

Back to work!

What a great weekend I had. I've been wanting a weekend like that for a while now. One filled with lots of plans and fun things going on. I gave B his shutterfly book for our 2 year anniversary and we BOTH loved it. It is a great addition to his window sill :) The rest of the weekend went something like this:
Friday- Visited the olds (my lovely parents), and they took me to this cute little Chinese restaurant and introduced me to their fav server Ferry. I LOVE Ferry, he's the cutest little Indonesian man i've ever met. Then some friends and I went over to Kendra's (haven't seen this girl in FOREVER.) It was a blasty..
Saturday- Went on a much needed shopping frenzy at the mall... Bought a brown sun hat and some super cute sandals (great purchase), and then went and celebrated Grampa Earl's ( B's cute Gpa) 80th birthday! I am so happy I had the chance to celebrate it w/ Brandon's fam, it was a great time getting to know the other side of his family more and more. We had a big tasty dinner and after his Gpa talked about his 80 years and it was really interesting hearing all about it. His family is so cute and they make me feel like i'm part of the family too.
Later after all the birthday stuff we hit up the bowling alley! I kicked Brandon's butt the first time and if you know this kid, you know that he is pretty competitive so any time I get the chance to beat him in ANYTHING, I let him know! But, sure enough he came back in the second game and killed me...
Sunday- After a fun night before we woke up and went to Market Street for breakfast with his fam before they flew back home. I have a new breakfast fav... egg's benedict! I tried it for the first time (in a restaurant) last weekend when B and I went there for breakfast and have been craving it since! Oh- and can't forget their potatoes
... mmMMmm Delish!
Later that night we went to Frogurt for Brando's cousin Paige's birthday party. It was really fun and I was craving ice cream all weekend! I don't even wanna look at the scale after all the yummy stuff we had this weekend. But one thing about it, the gym better be lookin out for me this entire week because I owe it a looonnng visit after all the stuff I made my body suffer through ;)
After a fun long weekend, all I wanted to do was crawl deep into my bed and not wake up (until this morning of course). For the first time in a long time, I was in bed before 10!
I was pooped!
